Quality should not be an optional extra when it comes to gas.
The regulator reduces the pressure from the gas bottle to the 30 mbar the plancha needs. We use IGT's version with a pressure gauge, so you can see on the gauge when the bottle is about to run out, instead of running dry in the middle of cooking.
Included in the set: Gas regulator with pressure gauge for bottled gas, 30 mbar, click-on for the blue bottle. Plus 0.8 m steel-braided gas hose with 1/4" swivel nut at both ends.
What steel-braided means: The hose has a stainless steel braid on the outside. It protects against heat and against the hose being pinched or chafed, and the rubber inside is better protected from sun and weather than on a standard orange gas hose. That is why it lasts longer.
Note: All our planchas are supplied with a thread adapter. It makes the hose easier to fit and reduces the risk of gas leaks. If you buy a different regulator yourself, it must have a threaded connection, otherwise it will not fit.
Check the hose and the connections once a year and at every bottle change.
For bottled gas (butane/propane) and outdoor use. Always check the connections with soapy water after fitting, never with an open flame. Replace the hose at the slightest doubt.
